Open complex fell. Rough underfoot in parts, undulating with abundant marshes, boulders, crags and knolls.

DIRECTIONS: The area is located within the Eskdale Valley, just to the east of the King George public house. Parking and assembly located at Fisherground Camp Site (GR NY 152 000). Please drive slowly along the narrow country roads. £2 per car parking fee collected on the gate.

Facilities: 

Portable toilets will be provided

Dogs: 

Dogs only allowed in the assembly area, on a lead. Please clean up any mess – the assembly field is used as a camp site.

Entries: 

Adult - £7.  Junior - £3.50.

Entry on the day only (EOD).  SI punching will be used for all courses.  Hire dibbers will be available.

SAFETY:  Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. If travelling alone, please ensure that your contact details are clearly written on your registration card.  All competitors who start must report to download even if they retire. Whistles are compulsory and may be checked.  Waterproof jackets and leggings may be compulsory in the case of bad weather. In the unlikely event of cancellation, details will be posted on the WCOC website – www.wcoc.co.uk

In line with BOF guidelines, as there are areas of brambles, etc. and there is the risk of ticks, full body cover is required.

RESULTS: These will be displayed during the event and afterwards posted on the WCOC website – www.wcoc.co.uk
Start and Finish:  
Start is approximately 1.5k from the assembly area (30 min walk).
Take care crossing the road on exit from the assembly area.
There will be a clothing dump as the walk to the start goes close to the finish. 
The finish is approximately 1k from assembly.
