Short park / sprint event in the grounds of Mirehouse estate. Fast, flat, easy running by Bassenthwaite Lake and St Begas Church.
Parking:
Registration is a short way along the minor road signposted to Bassenthwaite Church and Scarness off the A591 just north of Dodd Wood and Mirehouse main entrance (NY230293, CA12 4QE), at the track leading to the Church. There is a short (5 min) walk to the start.
Parking is either along this minor road (please park considerately and do not block gates), or at the small parking area close by just off the A591 at NY235292.

- Long = 2.8 km, 18 controls (medium difficulty)
- Short = 1.5 km, 12 controls (slightly easier, suitable for novices)
