Tomorrow sees the start of this year's "Galoppen" series (the Cumbrian Inter-Club competition) at Penrith Beacon. WCOC will be trying to win the coveted "Borrowdale Trophy" once again, so come and help your club get off to a good start. Courses suitable for all ages and abilities. Come and run this Thursday evening at beautiful Buttermere. Valuable points for the night series are at stake once more, so make sure you get your head-torch charged ready to race in this lovely varied area which includes wonderful woodland and detailed open fell. Many thanks to Lynne for another super coaching session, and to Anne for planning great courses round Woodhall Park this morning. As predicted, the sun shone, the snow made for wonderful running, and much fun was had by all!

Congratulations to Anne Burbidge - this year's WCOC Club Chase Overall Winner - who had a great run and held off stiff competition from an experienced and talented field! Congratulations also to the winners of each course - Hannah Birkinshaw (Yellow), Lily Regan (Orange), Louis Morris (Light Green), Sid Thomas (Green), Ben Breeze (Blue) and Andy Bradley (Brown).
