Last chance - entries are required again by 21st May so please email Alan (cumbriaal@msn.com) your Name, BOF & SI Number, Course and whether or nor you would like a seat on the bus.

SIACs

Now that a few lucky members have their own "SI air" dibbers, here is a little information about using them:

The controls have all been updated to work with the new SIAC dibbers. The sequence at the start is CLEAR then CHECK (to activate them - they should then give their little flashes every 30s). (Hopefully all planners will remember to put the SIAC CHECK box out.) However, note that the START box will still need an old-fashioned dib/punch as we've had problems with SAICs either not starting properly or starting too early as people potter about in the vicinity of the START box chatting / getting the map ready, etc. (so Roger has changed the START back to an ordinary control box).

Happy faster dibbing...

Update 11/5: along with great weather, the planenr has organised a barbeque at registration on which you can cook whatever you bring - summer is here!!

Don't miss the chance to run on one of our best areas at Dalegarth this Thursday. The weather forecast is great so why not pack a picnic and make the most of it... Hope to see you there.
