BSOC-winners

Congratulations to all the WCOC juniors who ran at BSOC today representing QEGS, Keswick School and Cockermouth School. 

Indivudual results - top ten placings for; Issy Sunley (1st Y7G), Clare Rodger (5th Y8G), Caitlin Irving (1st Y9G), Carys Thomas (3rd Y9G), Rosie Spencer (2nd Y10G), Lily Regan (4th Y10G), Izzy Greenwood (6th Y10G),  Niamh Hunter (4th Y11G), Wilf Teasdale (4th Y7B), Oliver Heron-Southward (2nd Y8B), Alastair Thomas (1st Y12B), Zac Hudd (3rd Y12B), Dan Spencer (4th Y12B), and Joe Goodwin (10th Y12B).

Team results; wins for Cockermouth Y10 Girls and Y12 Boys, second place for Keswick Y9 Girls.

Night running

How do you make orienteering in the dark even better? Answer - add cakes!  Check your head torch is ready for this week's event in the Night Series -  Thurs 17th Nov at Kelton Fell near Kirkland.

Bring a friend for a mid-week mini-adventure, and some money for a well-earned cake after your run!

Entries are still open for this year's "Copeland Chase" which will be held in the Loweswater Fells, starting at Leaps. This is a classic long O event, with 3 courses on offer (10km, 15km, 20km). Click here for more details including how to enter (very limited EOD).
