This Thursday at Maryport Golf Club is the final event in the winter series, so will be followed by the presentation and food in the club house. Please note the later start time (when it gets dark) and let Roger know if you plan to stay to eat (so you don't go hungry).
What better way to start the half-term holiday than with a run around the woods at Whinlatter. Courses suitable for all including families, beginners and more experienced orienteers (non-members welcome). Come and join in any time between 11 and 12 on Sunday morning - look for the WCOC banner. Come and join in the fun at the next instalment of WCOC's 50th anniversary celebrations this Thursday at Keswick. Soup, hot drinks and cakes will be on sale afterwards, so come prepared to buy refreshments (and support our fundraising juniors).
This years' compass sport cup heat is to be held on Sunday 12th March on Simpson Ground nr Newby Bridge. WCOC are entering non competitive for the event as a team but runs will still be eligible for ranking points.The final is to be held in Devon. It will be a good event with a full range of courses so if you would like to enter you need to email Alan Irving, club captain before 20th February. Full details are on the events page
