Firstly, to the juniors who ran at the Peter Palmer Junior Relays this weekend. There was a brilliant second place in the "Joan George" category for the WCOC team "007-OHMSS" of Alastair Thomas, Daniel Spencer, Niamh Hunter, Henry Teasdale, Joseph Sunley & Jonty Goodwin, and Katie Lowles. The second team (Crazy Cumbrians) also did well; Matthew Blackley, Kate Skinner, Ben Goodwin, Caitlin Irving, Billy Robinson & Carys Thomas, and Joe Goodwin.

Secondly, to all the WCOC members who took part in the 60th Lake District Mountain Trial held on Sunday. Andy Lewsley's courses provided an excellent physical challenge and lots of good route choices. Rob Stein had a great run, finishing second on the Medium course - fantastic!
