In field at GR NY 380 219. Fee £2 per vehicle.
If you’re arriving by car, please don’t park in the small public car park at end of old coach road – that’s for members of the public and minibuses.
If you’re bringing a minibus please call me. Bigger vehicles cannot be accommodated.
The road is narrow and two way traffic will be awkward, so everybody in by 11:30 and nobody leaves until after 11:30 please.
Directions
a) From North: Turn South off the A66 at Troutbeck (‘O’signed) onto the A5091 towards Dockray and Ullswater. Take 2nd Right, after approx 2 miles, onto minor road signposted Dowthwaitehead. The parking field is a further 1.7 miles along this minor road.
b) If approaching from Ullswater, follow A5091 North and turn Left in Dockray just before the Royal Hotel (not ‘O’ signed). Follow minor road steeply uphill for approx 1 mile.
Please keep children under supervision near moving traffic noting that route to/from the competition area is across and along minor public road.
Start is close to Assembly but there will be a longer walk from your car if verge parking is being used and you arrive later.

The club competition for the Borrowdale Trophy is the highest total score for the best five competitors for each club on each of the seven colour coded courses. WCOC are the current holders of the Trophy – let’s keep it this year!
