Taking all participants, but the Sparks,to near the summit of the Knock. 
Utilising the open fell, old mine workings (avoid the adits/shafts that are marked with 'O' on the map, and on no account attempt to enter them at any time), and some more subtle features of the west facing slope.

Important Safety Notes:
- You must come and register before starting your run and you must return to registration to download even if you retire from your course.
- If you travelled to the event alone, you must state this at registration or leave your car keys.
- Please come prepared for bad weather and carry a whistle.
- The area has mineworkings including some small adits or shafts, some are marked {O} on the map, they should not be approached or entered as they are unstable.

5.30-7pm

Courses Close: 

8pm. You must be back to download by this time, even if you retire, so we know you are back safe.
