At the Ling Fell event on 15th June, Colin Smith injured his knee.  Lots of runners stopped to help, and the Mountain Rescue soon arrived and stretchered him off.  Penny reported on Wednesday: Colin had surgery on his quadriceps tendon yesterday afternoon. Thank you again to all the fantastic people who stopped to help him on Ling Fell. Also to Cockermouth MRT for their speedy response.
