LOC are hosting the final Galoppen of the series at Roanhead. A bit of a drive for some but well worth the journey. Full details HERE.
An area of wild unspoilt intricate sand dunes located at the edge of the beautiful Duddon estuary with breathtaking views of the Lake District fells. The area includes Sandscale Haws, an SSSI conservation area important for its rich abundance of fauna and flora and especially wading birds and the rare Natterjack toad.
SiEntries close Wednesday 1st. Some entry on the day may be available. 

The Night Series continues next Thursday at High and Low Parks.

Teams of 2 people to run a 4-leg relay (2 laps each)

This year’s AGM will follow the evening event in Keswick and will be held at Portinscale Village Hall at 7pm.  You are welcome to attend whether or not you attend the event.
There will be a short meeting to complete the formal business of the AGM which will be followed by a steak pie, pea and gravy meal (vegetarian cheese and onion pie available or a vegan sausage roll).
IMPORTANT: We will need to know numbers for the catering, so please let the Social Secretary Carl Humphreys (carlhumf@gmail.com,  07866 948845 ) know by Saturday 14th October if you are able to attend and of your choice of food.

Come along and follow a spooky trail through the woods.

Don't forget your torch.

It will be very dark and who knows what you'll find hiding among the trees.
