The 78 bus leaves Keswick at 1630, 1730 and 1830 and takes about 20 minutes.
On the way back it leaves the Bowder Stone car park bus stop at about 1808, 1908 and 2008.
Starts and Finish:
There are two starts.
- The Easy and Short courses are 100m north of the car park.
- The Long start is 200m South-West of the car park on the path to the Bowder Stone.
The finish is 50m north of the car park.

Long: 3.9km 200m climb
Short: 2.6km 120m climb
Easy: 1.3km 65m climb (there is a taped route between controls 2 and 3. The rest of the course is along paths and walls)
Terrain:
Jaws is a beautiful and tough area.
- Crossing points must be used where walls and fences are shown on the map as uncrossable (thick purple line).
- The Borrowdale road is out of bounds, as shown by purple crosses on the map.
- Do not enter the out-of-bounds areas shown on the map as red hatching, these are to protect some plant species that are found in the marshes.
Important Safety Notes:
- You must come and register before starting your run and you must return to registration to download even if you retire from your course.
- If you travelled to the event alone, you must state this at registration or leave your car keys.
- Please come prepared for bad weather and carry a whistle.
